Bathing is a big deal for most Japanese. As a matter of fact, most of them can take a bath for hours. If you want to experience a nice Japanese bath, then you must simply go to an “onsen” or hot spring.

Most of these hot springs are located in most parts of Japan. They usually charge about 500 Yen as entrance fees, although there are some that costs cheaper. The facilities are very simple. Before, men and women will take a bath in separate rooms but now these onsens will have common rooms and you need to wear a pair of swimming trunks or bathing suit.

Japan is known for its gadget stores, but did you know that you will be able to snag in some goodies at fair and reasonable prices? So whether you are after a nice pair of boots, sunglasses, or a couple of dresses and fur coats, you will find them all in Japan.

There are various shopping stores in Japan which includes Seibu, Matsuzakaya, and Isetan. The best part is that you can be reimbursed for items that are non-consumable. All you need to do is to present your passport at the counter and they will gladly assist you with your needs.

Some of the things that you can grab at Japan include clothes and gadgets. But if you are going to ask my opinion, I believe that the prices here are very high compared to other Asian countries such as in Hongkong or Singapore.

The best part about travelling to other countries will always have to be the moment wherein you will dine and taste the unique cuisine of the country you are visiting. In Japan, all the restaurants are focused in giving their customers the best-tasting foods using only the freshest ingredients.

One of the staple foods in Japan will have to be the white rice. On most meals, you will also find a wide variety of soybeans, seafoods, seaweeds, and pickles because they are Japanese favorites.

Before you go to this country, make sure you have practiced your chopstick-eating skills. But you can always ask for spoon if you are not really talented in eating using chopsticks. Have lots of sake or wine while you are there too.
